Das offizielle Oeffnungsdatum ist der 29. März, doch schon heute wird klar: jeder der in das neue Melbourner Restaurant des britischen Starkochs Gordon Ramsay eintreten möchte, der muss online einen Tisch buchen.

Der australische Online Buchungsdienst Dimmi, der nach eigenen Angaben die Buchungen live an die jeweiligen Restaurants weitergibt, übernimmt diesen Service.
Gordon Ramsay hat in den vergangenen Jahren mit seinen diversen Kochshows das Publikum Down Under auf dieses Restaurant vorbereitet. Er hat sich dabei rüpelhaft durch diverse Fernseh-Shows durchgearbeitet und dennoch ist mir besonders sein Interview bei Andrew Denton in Erinnerung, in welchem er sehr menschlich und natürlich über Erfolg und Misserfolg in seiner Branche berichtete.
In der australischen Genuss-stadt wird Ramsay’s Neueröffnung bereits freudig erwartet, eine Bereicherung in einer bereits reichhaltigen Restaurantszene der südlichen Metropole. Wir werden weiter berichten.

Gordon Ramsay’s first Australian restaurants will open for reservations on Wednesday, March 3 at 9.00am (Australian EST) via Dimmi, Australia’s first real-time online reservations service. Enda Cunningham, maze Melbourne’s General Manager said, “We are thrilled to be opening for reservations. Our team, led by Chef de Cuisine Josh Emett, Restaurant Director Randa Assi and Head Sommelier Lincoln Riley, are really looking forward to opening the doors on March 29.

Gordon Ramsay uses real-time reservations in all of his restaurants around the world and we find that our guests really appreciate the ease of being able make bookings online, in their own time.
Using Dimmi in Australia will ensure that every experience at ‘maze’ Melbourne, from making reservations to dining in our two restaurants, will be memorable.”
An innovative approach to bookings in his Restaurant leads us all to the question, whether his style will be as innovative too – from the 29th of March onwards, the Melbournians will have the answer.
