Letzte Woche habe ich ein paar freie Minuten in Brüssel auf dem dortigen Flughafen verbracht. Ich war sehr überrascht, einen recht grossen Weinladen auf dem Weg zu meinem Flugsteig zu finden.

Leider war das Angebot aus Australien sehr dürftig: ein einsamer Penfolds Koonunga Hill lag recht verstaubt in den Regalen der ‘New World’ Weine. Umrahmt von diversen Sauvignon Blancs aus Neuseeland – nichts neues aus Belgien, wie schade.

I had a few spare minutes at Brussels airport the other day and had to realise that it meant no news to me: a rather lonely Australian Penfolds Koonunga Hill was listed next to a few Kiwi whites in the ‘New World’ section of the bottle shop.

No news about wine taste in Belgium, a bit of a sad story, really.
